YFF Blog: Week 7 Preview!

Derby matches have always been exciting to watch. They can score many goals from both sides or the match is ended with many yellow cards or red ones.

This week's derby match between Arsenal and Spurs will be a good one as well as Fulham and QPR. The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool will be assumed as a low scoring game as Everton is a tough team to break. From this assumption, I will probably not include L. Suarez in my team.

Other than that, I already sold Rooney as he'll probably out injured with a slight hamstring. It's a good question whether I should buy Welbeck or not. No one knows.

According to my statistics, these are the players I am interested to invest in

At Goal:

 DDG
Reina

At Defence:

Bosingwa
Hutton
John Arne Riise
Brown
Boyata
Rangel

At Midfield:

Silva
Wright-Phillips
Taarabt
VDV
Nani
Young

Lampard came back stronger with a goal during the midweek against Valencia but I doubt that he will get a goal at Bolton's home.

At Forward:

Aguero
Welbeck
RVP
Adebayor
Mata
Bendtner
Sinclair

I predict Stoke won't win at Swansea as they played Europa league last night. Bendtner is all if you want to take a risk.

YFF Blog: Week 6 Players!

Team 1
DDG
Santos, Brown, Bosingwa
Silva, Wright-Phillips, Cabaye, Walcott
Aguero, Rooney, Dzeko

I am not fated with Santos and Gibbs. When I put Santos, Gibbs played. After I buy Gibbs, Santos started.

Team 2
DDG
Boyata, Brown, Bosingwa
Silva, Wright-Phillips, Cabaye, Taarabt
Aguero, Rooney, RVP

Boyata is the last choice as he's a filler to me.

Team 3
DDG
Mertesacker, Brown, Bosingwa
Silva, Wright-Phillips, VDV, Taarabt
Aguero, Rooney, Mata

Besides, Skrtel is another option as he has served his one match ban. Also, Ashley Young would be a good choice as Stoke's players are going to be burnt out with fatigue. His quick feet will win fouls, corners and even goals.

What do you say?

Good luck, guys!

YFF Blog: Week 6 Preview!

Week 6 Preview

After carling cup matches, it's still tricky to choose first 11 for week  6. A lot of star players were left out on the bench.

Man City won against Birmingham. Tevez and Baloteli played 90 minutes. Thus, it's safe if you buy Dzeko and Aguero. To me, it's not healthy to put two strikers in. I am thinking of Suarez from Liverpool. Besides, Steven Gerrard will play this weekend, I suggest. He will probably take back his role for penalty kick.

Elsewhere, I doubt Benayoun will be one of the sure starters for week 6. Instead I'd rather go for Walcott in midfield. Gervinho is a good keep if you get him at a discounted price.

This week my focus will be on Chelsea players. I'm interested in investing Lampard and  Bosingwa. I don't believe Rangel can handle Torres and Mata well enough. Consequently I will hope a penalty for Lampard.

So far, these are the players I think of:

Goalkeeper

DDG
Szczesny

It's a good bargain if you want to get Szczesny at 5.69. It is, however, a risk as Arsenal's backline is recently messy. So it's down to your choice.

Defenders

W. Brown
Santos
Mertesacker
Bosingwa
Boyata
Smalling
M. Richards

I plan to kick out Boyata as I don't expect Bolton will get a clean sheet. I still want to keep Brown though.

Midfielders

Silva
Wright-Phillips
Lampard
Taarabt
Welcott
VDV
Cabaye

I have no plan of selling D. Silva. At the same time, I will keep Wright-Phillips as he's performing. He almost got a goal last week. Unfortunately, the ball hit the post and goalkeeper before the latter saved it. Taarabt could be a good choice. He can give you average of 8 points per week.

Strikers

Aguero
Dzeko
Rooney
Torres
Mata
Gervinho
RVP
L. Suarez

Rooney and Aguero are my star players. There's only one vacancy for striker post.

All is down to your choice. Meanwhile, I am waiting patiently till the Match day deadline as sometimes, players get injured during training.

All the best to you!

YFF Blog: Week 5 Review!

After going through the stages of buying and selling, I finally made 128 points for this week. My total points are now accumulated to 543.50 and overall ranking is up to 3332.

I didn't really think that Liverpool would allow to give many goals. So I didn't buy Adebayor but my player, Robin Van Persie, didn't let me down. Now I need to consider whether I should keep him or not. Besides, I invested on K. Gibbs instead of Santos. Thus, only 10 players with 128 points isn't that bad. So far, my line up:

DDG
Boyata, Brown, Rangel
Silva, Wright-Philips, Petrov, Benayoun
Aguero, Rooney, Van Persie

I will change a lot of players starting from the back to strikers. Till now, I am thinking of buying Suarez for Van Persie. Torres may score a goal but I still don't have strong belief on him. Besides, Petrov will not make many points at Arsenal's ground as they are very hungry of winning a game to get it back on track.

But it's important to listen to the injury news after midweek matches. I will keep you all update.

Please remember not to change many players if they are performing.

If you have any other opinion, share with me.
